Council to review draft report

On Tuesday, June 17, Terrace FireSmart will present the first draft of the Community Wildfire Resiliency Plan (CWRP) to City Council at a Committee of the Whole meeting, which starts at 12noon.

The agenda for this meeting and all supporting documents are available on the Terrace City Council portal.

Conor Corbett of Forester Frontera Forest Solutions, the consultant who helped develop the plan, will also give a brief presentation highlighting key recommendations.

Council will also have a chance to ask questions to the Consultant, and the City's FireSmart Coordinator and Fire Chief.

While the draft plan the BC Wildfire Service and the Union of BC Municipalities are both still reviewing the plan, no major changes are expected.
