The Proposal

After leading community engagements with the local businesses and downtown community, Terrace Downtown Improvement Area (TDIA) developed and brought a proposal to City Council in 2025 that would transform Lakelse avenue into a vibrant and modern street that would allow people to shop, gather, and celebrate right in the heart of the community.

This proposal was accepted by City Council and the 4600 Block of Lakelse Revitalization Project was added to the 2026 Capital Projects list.
