In 2003, the City of Terrace’s created an Accessibility Plan with the support of an Advisory Committee made up of local representatives. The plan outlines Phase I of improving accessibility at the City of Terrace, which focuses on improving 'Information and Communication' - for example, challenges when interacting with signage, printed materials, and technology like websites and social media.
Terrace is a vibrant community, strengthened by its diversity of people and their ideas, skills, and experiences. The City of Terrace is committed to removing barriers that could limit the full participation of our diverse population.
