The Parks, Recreation & Culture Department supports healthy and active lifestyles and a culturally vibrant community through developing, maintaining, and promoting recreational and cultural assets. The department delivers a diverse array of services, programs, and events that serve to enrich the quality of life in our community for all ages and abilities. The Parks, Recreation & Culture Department is responsible for managing, maintaining, and operating the Sportsplex, Aquatic Centre, cemeteries, and over 100 hectares of parks, trails, and open spaces throughout the community.
