UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who has weighed in so far and to those that have provided questions and comments on this project. We appreciate the interest and, like you, want this to be a playground that will serve our community for years to come! Wondering what our approach is to playground and park planning? Leisure Services staff have provided a very helpful and thorough overview of our approach to this project. Before you do the survey, take a look here.
One of the exciting projects we're working on in 2022 is a revitalization of Kerr-Rotary Park, located to the west of Walmart.
This revitalization includes a new playground, and we're looking for your help with choosing the main play structure for this park!
Special note: You may note Option A is for a slightly older user group, as it features sections higher off the ground than Option B. However, whichever play structure is chosen, there will be many other elements of this park targeted at our youngest visitors who may be too young for this piece, should it be selected (see the link above for more information!).
Stay tuned for more to come on this project.
This survey is open from Friday, February 11, to Wednesday, February 16, 2022.
