Summer Schedule: Bronze Cross and Bronze Medallion
We're looking for new lifeguards to join our team!
Our Bronze Cross and Bronze Medallion programs are key steps toward becoming a National Lifeguard. Anyone ages 13+ can get started with Bronze Cross.
Normally, each of these courses is $220, but if you meet our criteria, it’s just $60 per course!
To qualify for our discount, you must:
- Be 15 years old and above
- Have a local Terrace address
- Plan to work in aquatics

We want to recruit as many new lifeguards as we can. To help us meet our goals, we are planning our next Bronze Cross and Bronze Medallion course schedule around what works best for you. If you're thinking of applying, please take our survey to let us know what dates would work best for you.
OPTIONS (*note that Option 1 dates have now passed, but please let us know if any of the others appeal!):
Option 1
- Medallion: Tues–Wed, May 3–4, 4–8 pm / Tues–Wed, May 10–11, 4–8 pm / Thurs, May 17, 4–8 pm
- Cross: Tues–Wed, May 24–25, 4–8 pm / Tues–Wed, May 31–June 1, 4–8 pm / Tues, June 7, 4–8 pm
Option 2
- Medallion: Fri, May 27, 4–8 pm / Sat, May 28, 9 am–6 pm / Sun May 29, 9 am–6 pm
- Cross: Fri, June 3, 4–8 pm / Sat, June 4, 9 am–6 pm / Sun, June 5, 9 am–6 pm
Option 3
- Medallion: Mon-Fri, May 30–June 3, 4–8 pm
- Cross: Mon–Fri, June 6–10, 4–8 pm
Option 4
- Medallion: Mon–Fri, July 4–8, 4–8 pm
- Cross: Mon–Fri, July 11–15, 4–8 pm
