OCP Public Hearing

We have been busy drafting the City of Terrace’s new Official Community Plan (OCP) to meet the needs of our growing community and to address the housing and climate emergencies impacting our city. Part of this process is seeking your input and feedback. On October 15, we had an open house to share our work with you to confirm we had not missed anything. The next step is to present an updated OCP document to Council at a public hearing next week.

How can I take part?

At a public hearing, anyone is welcome to express their opinions regarding the amended OCP bylaw.

  • Written submissions must be submitted by 11 A.M. on Monday, October 26, 2026 – via email at developmentservices@terrace.ca or by letter, mailed or delivered to: 5003 Graham Avenue, Terrace, B.C., V8G 1B3.
  • In person – Public Attendance in Council Chambers.
  • Electronic Participation – Join the meeting via the Microsoft Teams platform through a computer or mobile device. To learn more, see www.terrace.ca/participate or call 250-638-4712.
