Holiday Challenge #3: Styrofoam

There’s a good chance you’re going to give or receive items this holiday season containing Styrofoam packaging. Please remember these items cannot go in your curbside recycling bin. Instead, some can be recycled at the Do Your Part Recycling Depot, and those types that can’t can be put in your black cart—or taken to the transfer station if you’ve done more shopping than you care to admit 😉

Do Your Part Recycling Depot:

• Styrofoam blocks or containers
• Bubble wrap
• Stretchy soft plastic overwrap

Black cart or Thornhill Transfer Station:

• Packing peanuts
• Flexible foam packing material
