All paper copies must be completed and dropped off at City Hall by 4pm Monday, October 7.
City Hall is at 3215 Eby Street. Hours are 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

What is this survey about?
This survey is being conducted by Arrowsmith Gold Inc. on behalf of Kitsumkalum First Nation, Kitselas First Nation, and the City of Terrace. It aims to better understand critical health and safety risks pertaining to rail our area and gather community feedback to inform recommendations and mitigations.
Timeframe
The survey will be open to complete online via the SurveyMonkey link from September 23rd- October 7th 2024.
Who can participate?
- Households located in Kitsumkalum First Nation, Kitselas First Nation, Terrace, Thornhill, and surrounding areas.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- One survey per household.
Why is your input important?
Information from the survey will help:
- Identify our common concerns and key issues related to rail safety.
- Support an independent rail risk assessment.
- Inform advocacy efforts for improved rail safety and operations in our communities.
What will the survey cover?
Demographic information about you and the members of your household.
- Your experiencing interfacing with rail in your day to day life.
- Your safety, health and environmental concerns related to rail transport in our communities.
How will my information be used?
- All responses will be kept confidential
- Data will be securely stored and accessible only to the research team
- Individual responses will not be shared
What happens after the survey?
- A summary of findings will be made available to all participants and community members
- The survey will directly inform recommendations and a suite of targeted mitigations.
How long will the survey take?
Approximately 15-20 minutes
